A last-minute kitesurfing trip to find the wind in Europe, ended up in being in hurricane Ophelia while we were in Rhosneigr, Wales. Ophelia brought some good wind and waves to this beautiful kite and windsurf spot in the north-west of Wales. No action shots this time, I was too busy kitesurfing :).

It’s almost September, but the summer doesn’t seem to go away. That’s great for some warm sunsets and perfect for sunsets photo shoots! Here is a small selection of the photos I took on the 27th of August at the Veersedam in the Netherlands.

After a request on Instagram for a lifestyle photoshoot, I met Lotte in Rockanje at the beach. Curms provided some of the accessoiries that would fit perfectly in the beach themed shoot. We are having a great summer for kitesurfing here in The Netherlands: strong winds, waves and sunny weather. Yesterday I took some photos of friends at our local spot Domburg, with winds up to 35-40 knots. Gallery

Just before leaving to the south of Spain, I received my Helios 44-2 M42 Russian vintage lens. The fair in Chiclana de la Frontera seemed like a good place to test out the special swirly bokeh this lens produces.

The past few weeks I’ve been travelling to a lot of places for work, so I didn’t have time to do a lot of photoshoots. But I’ve managed to take a few shoots in between the video shoots. I’ve added a shot to the Netherlands gallery and the Greece Gallery.

At the moment I’m traveling around the east coast of Bulgaria for TUI, creating web videos for on their website. In my spare time I’ll try to shoot as much as possible. The first shots are in the new Bulgaria gallery on this website. Check it out!
